University of Alberta Research Internship Program

The University of Alberta Research Internship Program allows senior undergraduate and master's students from key partner universities to conduct research at UAlberta during the summer under the supervision of a faculty member.

Students gain hands-on, practical experience in their academic discipline and receive a stipend of up to $5,000 CAD*. Placements range between 10 weeks and four months, and take place during the summer (May through August).

*The program requires a $2,000 commitment from the UAlberta faculty member/department; the remaining $3,000 is funded by University of Alberta International.
