The success of University of Alberta International programs and services rely on the contributions of volunteers.
A wide variety of opportunities exists for faculty, staff, students and community members to participate.
We invite you to get involved!
Help welcome new international students from around the world as part of the Transitions orientation volunteeer team.
Experience our campus' rich diversity through the Peer Program. Senior students can help mentor first-year international students, or you can simply help out during casual activities organized by the Peer Program.
International students can share their international experiences and enhance their public speaking skills by teaching Albertans about other cultures and through the Bridges Speakers Program.
Be a part of International Week, the Global Education Program's signature event, by helping out behind the scenes with publicity, speaker introduction, and event preparation. You can also volunteer throughout the year to help run other global-themed events.
If you've studied abroad, help recruit students for international exchanges and offer expertise to potential candidates through the STARS program.
