Global Education Program
The Global Education Program (GEP) is the division of University of Alberta International charged with engaging students, staff and the larger community in global issues.
GEP works to inspire and cultivate students as the next generation of leaders prepared to tackle critical issues facing the world.
Programming is scheduled throughout the year, including lectures, conferences, exhibitions and intercultural training.
GEP's signature event—International Week—is UAlberta's largest annual extra-curricular education event.

Bridges Student Speakers Program
Bridges is a free, student-speaker program where UAlberta students share their international experiences first-hand with the greater community.
Bridges volunteers make presentations to local schools, community organizations and post-secondary classrooms, providing insight into other countries, cultures, languages or specific global issues.
The program is a great resource for K-12 school teachers who are looking to internationalize their curriculum.
Students representing more than 50 countries participate in Bridges each year, and the nature of presentations is as diverse as the speakers themselves.
